Long Time Missed

Buddy and Susan are reunited after a long year and a half apart,  Buddy was stolen from a business in Parker where he was the official greeter. Now they`re reunited and hopefully together forever. We are thankful for the help of Pine Grove Animal Hospital where Angie was a great help with finding the chip in Buddy and also tracking down his owner.  We wish he could talk more plainly to tell his story.  Susan said there was a major search for him which included survalence video, police reports, and  help from clients and friends.

NOTE****
Buddy was mirco chipped with HomeAgain (pet mirco chipping) a long time ago,  Even though  your mirco chip company says that your pets chip has expired they keep the most current information.

Saturday January 7, 2017 Volunteers

Elizabeth P. from CCHS, Elizabeth H. from TRMS, Gaby from Leawood, Evan from CHS, Emily from CHS, Ellie from PGE, Kevin from Douglas County High, and Stephanie came out in the cold to help us with our chores this morning. BRRRR!  Roxanne came out to check on the chicken room.

Evan's favoite chore was feeding the dogs.  Ellie liked working in the chicken room.  Emily liked feeding the llamas. Kevin's favoite chore was filling the feeder. Elizabeth H brought her Christmas tree for the goats.  Elizabeth P picked up a lot of poop today. Gaby's favorite chore was feeding the chickens.

At 17 degrees we had our chores done in no time.  Thank you everyone for all of your help.

Happy New Year From The Cooley Family!

Many thanks to Mike, Kandee and Sophia Cooley who came out early New Year's day to do morning chores and give lots of love to all the critters.

What a great way to start the new year; we could not do what we do without our volunteers!

Nia Torrey posted the first blog of the year. :)
