Seasons changing come visit

Look closely.  This volunteer gets double loving from Mudpie and Bubble gum.  These two little goats visited in the mountains for a while but now are back.  Come love on this duo.
Our wonderful farrier comes all the way from Fairplay, Colorado Kirk Stanley to trim hooves  Here he gets lost of help from students from Grandview, Cherokee Trail, Chaparral and Legend! We love  our volunteers! Thank You! Riddle me this...How many people does it take to change a light bulb or trim hooves? Come around and help us count!

Leah holds Toby while he gets his feet trimmed.
Harley and Leah getting ready to walk Rocky, our newest addition.  He is quite full of himself.  Come meet him and take him for a walk!!!

Care and Community help

Thanks to the wonderful help we receive from Care and  Community. This is Jeremy he is a power lifter who uses his abilities to scoop poop!  In the background Jamie is scouting for things to clean and repair.
Daniel and Connor have finished with chores and very carefully put away the muck buckets and scoops. A place for everything and everything in it's place!

Joe, Connor, Martin and Daniel work on spreading gravel to make a path that is less muddy as our winter weather is upon us.  Care and Community workers are dependable rain or shine! The animals love them and so do we!  A huge Thank You!!

Honey's New Home!

Home is where the heart is, and Honey sure loves her new spot in Lyons, Colorado.
Colorado sure has some beautiful sights to offer, and Honey is getting
the best of it with a beautiful mountain landscape.

Food brings company together, and it is no different with goats
as Honey and her new friend enjoy a meal together.

Honey loves the new foliage...great for those hard to reach itches!

Believe it or not, Honey actually took this selfie herself,
smiling from goat ear to goat ear thrilled with her new home!

Special thanks to Cat Russel for the phenomenal photos!

Park Place Technologies

Two strong helpers make a difficult task look easy
moving a mat that feels like a thousand pounds.

The goats are very pleased with the new paint-job
adding a splash of color to their bedrooms.

Not quite digging for treasure, but rather
digging for weeds...but just as important!

All hands on "pallet" for this daunting task of
moving this hefty load of hay-holders.

All of this help stemming from an unwavering love
between the human and animal kingdoms!

Special thanks to Liz Lang and each of our volunteers for their extraordinary help.
We couldn't have done it with out you!
