Walking the animals

We can't forget to take them on their walk. We have volunteers to hold our llamas and horses while the goats run along with us.

Dealer's healing

After a battle with cancer, Dealer's eye is healing well. He is feeling right at home with                                                                                 goats, horses, and chickens.

Guardian Mask Company Donation!

We so appreciate the generous donation from the Guardian Mask Company, located in Burnet, Texas. Their website is guardianmask.com. You have probably followed the story that on February 3rd, 2021, Dealer (our 20 year old Missouri Fox Trotter) was taken to Colorado State University. There, it was expected he would do a 3 day surgery to remove eye tumors. It ended up being a 6 week ordeal with the end result that one eye needed to be removed. We are so very grateful to the Guardian Mask Company for donating a mask to protect his good eye from the UV rays in our high Colorado atmosphere!

Goodbye to Toby

This is an update on our pony Toby, who was placed with Teri Allen, due to his need for specialized care:

Today we said goodbye to a very special little pony. Toby arrived at our rescue just over a year ago with chronic laminitis. With the help of our knowledgeable and experienced vets and farriers, we were able to keep him happy, healthy and comfortable until recently. We finally made the difficult decision to do the right thing for Toby. With the help of our vet, we humanely euthanized him this afternoon. He spent the day being spoiled with lots of treats and TLC. When it was time, he was surrounded by people who loved him and by his little buddy, Stormy. We know he's finally kicking up his heels, with no more pain, on the other side of the rainbow bridge.

Thank you Terolyn for everything you did to keep this very special pony happy!
