On Friday, July 15th we lost our beloved mascot, Chip.
Our hearts are broken but we have the most wonderful memories of our sweet, lovable and oh so gentle big boy. He came to Edwards as a pup and everyone who met him instantly fell in love with him.
His soft, brown eyes would melt your heart in a moment; he will be missed by all.
Chip had been treated for, and was doing well in his recovery from recent intestinal and stomach issues. He could not have received any better or kinder care.
On Friday, he took a sudden turn for the worst and was rushed to the vet who then referred us to the emergency vet.
We are forever grateful for the tremendous efforts of Dr. Carlos and his assistant, J.C. at Veterinary Center of Parker and of Sarah at VetERinary Specialist of the Rockies to save him. The entire staff at both were incredibly supportive and we couldn't give them any higher praise.
