End of summer treat for these wonderful students from Eaglecrest High School. They held their annual visit and bbq here at Edwards Foundation. Ms. Ramey and Mr. Gladboch arranged for this end of year outing. Chris was in charge of the bbq, the food was good and the brownies were delicious, and the weather was outstanding.

Brian Best helper

This is Brian.  He has been an angel.  He has come around to do morning chores ever since the first of the year when Lynda was recovering from total knee replacement.  Not only was she slow moving but she was scared of ice, snow, and mud.  All the animals love Brian and the wonderful care he gives each and every one.  Here he is with Tuffy.  Every day Brian has helped to put ointment in his. eye.  Tuffy is making a good recovery.  He has lost most of the sight in his eye but still gets around just fine.  The cherry eye has prevented him from being adopted but our vet has cleared him for adoption as long as new owners monitor his eye.  Come around and visit him.  He loves attention.

Two new arrivals from Mississippi

These two little aged goats are the last of a heard belonging to Penny from Mississippi.  Penny is moving to Utah to be with her son, daughter-in-law and new baby.  These dear little old ladies rode in a pony transport.  The pygmy is Thumbilina and the Nubian is Bunny. As they look around they seem to think "we are not in Kansas any more".  Pancake is the first to welcome them.
Then Togo and Ghana come to welcome Thumbilina.

Nathan stands guard to make sure the new arrivals are safe.  Come around and meet these two new ladies,  and help them feel at home.
Bunny checks out her new surroundings.
Thumbilina is a little more timid when meeting Molly the Zebu for the first time.  Volunteers Ken and Laura help them feel comfortable.

Kitty Love ♥

Animals big and small call Edwards' Animals home. Edwards' has a wonderful clowder of cats that roam and play. With the beautiful weather returning, our kitties have been even more content than usual!

Tomcat Grey flicks his tail in the sun to test its warmth.

Tomcat Orange gazes out the window to see who might stop by.

These kitties could always use affection and a good brushing! If you have any time feel free to stop by and share in the love.
