Birthday visit

Teenage brother Clay, along with his two sisters, Ava and Evie came to visit us all dressed up in their riding gear before their horse riding lesson at Double T Stables.

Ava was kind enough to donate some of her birthday money to our foundation. Her donation will help buy 10 bails of hay! The animals are so happy and thankful that Ava chose to share some of her birthday gifts with them. She definitely made their day and they want to say a big THANK YOU!!! :)

Volunteer Lisa leads a tour and Nani the goat assists with animal introduction.

Care and Community treated to pool party at Fischers!

Wet, wild and having a splashing good time!

Jamie, Ambe, Lexi, Connor, Lynda, Jeremy, Clay, and Chance.

Having good time with Leader Mike.

Nick watches Andrew and Mike splash around.

 Rafting fun!

The water was refreshing on such a hot day.

Thank you Fischers!

Elements Academy summer visit

Teachers Miss Shannon and Miss Chelsea bring

Hailey, Destanie, Michaela, Kyleigh, Ismael, Noah, Colin, Sage, Emberleigh, and River by for their annual visit from Westminster.

The children loved visiting with the larger animals in the barnyard, there was one animal, the tiniest of all that stole not only all the attention, but their hearts as well - Little Daisy.

 Taking a break before snacks.

They were such a well behaved group, and we look forward to their visit next summer. :)

Fond Farewell

Fabian and Sandra give a fond goodbye to Nani and Tuli before heading back to Germany. These two teachers from the Almogordo Air Force base have completed their teaching assignment and are returning home to Petershagen, Germany. Not only do they make a monthly automatic donation, but they have promised to return for a visit in two years. We will miss them.

You can read more about Nani and Tuli in our previous blogs.

Coco makes new friends while drawing a crowd to the Edward's Animal table.

Children got a chance to have their picture taken with Coco - say cheese Coco!

We had pictures, candy, and flyers for customers to look through as they visited with Coco

Coco loves to show off for and make people smile!

Lauren and Joan make sure Coco is comfortable and happy

The kids loved Coco's soft, fluffy feathers!

A wonderful face painting booth was set up at the event, and offered a bright and creative selection to choose from

Lauren rocking the fish and bubbles while holding Coco

Kids had an opportunity to feed and pet Coco with Ambe and Lexi
