Aveda Volunteers

 On January 24th we had a wonderful team of volunteers come by from the Aveda Experience Center to help look after the animals and take the llamas on a stroll.

They were a great help and we look forward to working with them again in the future!

Duck Adoption

 A lovely lady by the name of Karen came by yesterday and adopted a duck to keep her drake company after its partner passed. 

Best wishes to the both of them as they adjust to this change and get settled in.

Volunteers from Ent

 Two wonderful ladies, Jordan and Marissa, got special time off from their company, Ent, to come volunteer with us and help do chores. It was a joy to have them, and we appreciate their and everyone else's help keeping the rescue running!

A Sunny Weekend

As the Sun comes back and warms up the snow, we had some similarly sunny volunteers come through this past weekend to help look after all the animals and walk the llamas!

Buckley Space Force Volunteer Visit

Earlier this month we had a group of Airmen and Guardians from the Buckley Space Force Base come by to do some volunteer work. They were all lovely, hardworking individuals, and the animals liked them almost as much as we did!

Glad we had them come by to help, as the temperatures were in the single digits, and we wish them all the best in their continued service! 

New Chicken!

Welcome our newest member, Blue. Right now he is introducing himself to the ducks and even the goats are giving him a warm welcome. We look forward to having this lovely, happy rooster.
